Don’t miss a trip to the White Desert and book with this crew! - Wow! This was a highlight of our recent 2.5 week trip to egypt. We spent 3 days, two nights and would not recommend just one night. It is too far... read more away and too much to see for just one night. We visited Nov 19-21 and celebrated our twins bday with this wonderful crew. The Black desert is a quick stop and you will spend most of your time in the White Desert. We requested to be away from other campsites and people and asked for an itinerary that allowed our kids to run and explore, so less about photo opportunities and more about quality time at quality locations. Mostafa and Tamer delivered! Tamer’s wife made an amazing homemade cake for the kids. We rarely saw people and other jeeps and my kids had ample time to run. I noticed on the first night our driver was barefoot and we spent the remainder of the time feet in the sand. The sand was never too hot or too cold, even in the middle of the night. We had zero mosquitos except for one single mosquito at the Black mountain stop on the last day. We saw a fox, a caravan of camels, and delighted in the tracks we found in the morning. Dinners were delicious! We visited close to full moon and the stars were still beautiful. I’d love to come back new a full moon, spend two nights at the first location (would not change how we did the first visit/itinerary) and then a third night in Wadi Al-Hitan to see the whale bones. I also would love to read up more about this fascinating desert that was once underwater. The first night’s campsite was jaw dropping. I heard some yoga/meditation groups book that location for a week and I can see why. The second night in New White Desert was also great and we loved finding the shells attached to formations and all the fossils. Mohamed cooked our food and was very sweet with the kids. Personally, I’d plan your trip around making sure a journey to the White Desert is a part of it. It is so memorable! We felt absolutely safe and taken care of. We highly recommend this crew and this trip and wish you a wonderful time in Egypt!

The experience of a lifetime! - My friends and I had an unforgettable experience in the desert with Sahara Egypt Tours. I’ve traveled extensively, and I can confidently say that this desert adventure was one of... read more the most powerful experiences of my life.
Sahara Egypt Tours took incredible care of us—from the delicious meals they prepared to their expert driving skills, navigating the challenging desert terrain with ease. They guided us to the most beautiful, remote areas of the desert, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and so much natural beauty. We camped in a stunning location, and the tents and sleeping bags provided were both comfortable and well-suited for the environment.
One of the highlights was gathering around the bonfire at night, singing and playing drums under the starry desert sky. The rhythm, music, and crackling fire created a magical and deeply connected moment I’ll never forget.
Mustafa and Tamer were phenomenal guides, making the trip even more special. I highly recommend embarking on this adventure with them—it’s truly an experience of a lifetime!

It was a very peaceful trip
They also lead camping trips, camel trips as well as walking trips (we just did one day of exploring, slept at a local hotel, then another full day of exploring)
